Gaston Memorial Hospital

Established in 1908 as City Hospital in Gastonia, NC. The name was changed to Gaston Memorial Hospital in 1946, after the purchase and expansion of the hospital by the community following World War II. In 1947, the hospital established a school of nursing, which graduated 307 student before the school's closure in 1973.
In 2015 the hospital was incorporated into CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
