Audrey Hardy has over 30 years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse and ten years of experience as a Nursing Instructor in the State of North Carolina. She has worked as an Occupational Health Nurse, Nurse Supervisor and Staff Nurse. Currently, she works as a Staff Educator and Community Health Initiative Coordinator at the Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Audrey provides staff education and facilitates and provides health and wellness community outreach in her role.
Ms. Hardy is very active both in professional organizations including the American Nurses Association, the North Carolina Nurses Association, North Carolina A & T State University Nursing Alumni, serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Medical Office Systems program for Halifax Community College. She truly demonstrates her love for community involvement as an active member of Roanoke Chapel Baptist Church where she is a member of the Deaconess Board, Choir President, Youth Advisor, and member of the Women’s Lift Ministry. She also serves as the Co-Chair of Garysburg Area Wide-Health Committee, serves on Hannah’s Place Domestic Violence Shelter Board of Directors and is a former Garysburg Town Commissioner.
Ms. Hardy received her Bachelors of Nursing Degree from A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and sports. She is the proud mother of two sons, in addition to three grandchildren.
