  • Ahearn, L. (August 4, 2002) And then there was one.  the News and Record.  A newspaper story about Nurse Margaret Ware and the delivery of a set of  quadruplets born when Annie Penn Hospital was segregated.
  • Peggy Ann Wilson was a Republican member of the N.C. House of Representatives (1989-1994) from Rockingham County. Trained as a nurse, Ms. Wilson was an insurance manager and past president of the Rockingham County Federation of Republican Women, who named her Woman of the Year in 1986.
  • She moved to Alaska and was elected to the Alaska state legilature in the 1990s.
